bright summer evenings

Today I got tired of sitting so I grabbed my bike, a full Nalgene, my running shoes, and my camera wrapped in towels, all in a backpack.
I rode it to Signal Hill, up the hill, and stopped periodically to take pictures of the hill and the view from the hill from different angles. I rode down the hill because I got tired of all the people, so I rode down the other side of the hill to a grassy, quiet area. There was such a huge difference between the atmosphere there and the atmosphere up above.
I took self portraits and some other pictures, which you can see below.

 my bike, my baby

this cat and I stared at each other for about five minutes, so I took a picture.

the oil rigs are always so interesting to watch, going up and down, up and down, forever squeaking forever working

Today was a long but successful day. I worked six hours, did an hour and a half of yoga, biked all that way and took pictures.

I keep accidentally wearing my ring the wrong way. I have a boyfriend now, and he is the best of the best, I'm so happy to have him in my life.

I don't know what else to update you about, I don't even know if you need an update or require one, but I guess this is more for me remembering things that happened, anyway. I want an ice cream shop and I want my weekend getaway that turns into a lifestyle like none other with my love and wwwwouldn't it be nice?

Happy days, make the most of them, trust your impulses, the first step out the door is the hardest but once you get out there, the excitement of the whole world attacks you, it's all waiting to be discovered, by you! Look at the world around you, know where you are, understand the people who make up your city, the ones you see and interact with but never know, every day. Get to know a stranger, compliment someone when you think to, and take the photograph of the thing you want to remember, don't rely on your internal memory, don't be lazy, do it do it do it!
all the best

love, Jill
