november's end

I shot a roll of Kodak Ektar 100 film yesterday. It was the first film I've shot in a really long time.

These are way more experimental than what I'm used to and I think it's exactly the direction I'd like to move in. All my shoots lately are for other people or for something specific so I'm not able to put my own variations of limitations on myself to be creative with, but I was actually able to with this roll. I'm halfway through another and will likely finish it next week. Latest goal: build myself a photo lab so I can process n print any/all types of film on my own, and move completely from digital to analog.

My head's in front of my hands, as always, but I'm excited about these.

big sur in november

This has been one of the greatest trips of my life so far. I don't know exactly how or why, but it's changed me. I think I'm still processing it all.
The transitions are becoming rhythmic and I'm understanding them more and more completely. I see the start finish up down movement and flux of it all. It doesn't overwhelm me as much anymore.

I'm endlessly grateful for these experiences. Soul-stirring trips give me all the motivation I need to keep moving during the downs. And the people! I can't explain how much these humans mean to me. There's something about
being
in nature with other beings

changing forever, but I'm glad I have these for memories
